At Sandusky Street Antiques, our vision is to promote the beauty and charm of antique pieces as a way of preserving history and culture. We believe that each piece has a story to tell, and by collecting, restoring, and selling antique furniture and decor, we are helping to keep these stories alive.
I can't remember when I haven't loved antiques! From my mother, brother and now my husband and daughter.

I love the shop and the booth that my daughter and I share.

We’ve enjoyed being part of the SSA family for ten years (I think). Sharing time with our fellow dealers, David and Jeanne and the Kessler family gives us great joy. It is THE BEST antique shop in Ohio and is known for its quality merchandise and inviting environment.
We specialize in early country painted furniture; early small decorative items; blue decorated stoneware; quilts; baskets, painting and Native American jewelry.
Our tastes have changed through the years and we’ve grown into buying and selling advertising, signs, pottery, and garden accessories. (Including heavy stone items…..why???).
I became interested in antiques because I love history - my family on both sides were farmers and I was surrounded by primitives. They canned, made bread, butter, milked cows…….etc.

I loved saving this history by buying and selling to customers that loved this history as much as I did. I always loved it when I sold to someone who was over the moon in adding to their collection.
I have been in the business since 1982. I had a full time (real) job and also operated an antique shop in St. Louis Missouri. I also did about 12 to 15 antique shows a year from Chicago to Memphis and from Indiana to Texas.
We moved to Columbus in 2018 and I found SSA. I have been a loyal customer since.
Buying from Peg at Christmas is the highlight of the year. I always say it would be cheaper for me to marry her. :)
I love the Arts & Crafts movement, Christmas and primitives and anything in between that gives me goose bumps.
I have a huge Christmas collection and over 4,600 Santa postcards and I am not done yet.
I was mentored very early by senior antique dealers that instilled in me that above selling merchandise is to do it with honesty and integrity. That is what creates happy and loyal customers.
I really love the antique business and all of the people I have meet through the years.
I’ve been around early antiques all my life. From growing up in a large 1890 farmhouse, to visiting my grandmother’s 1725 cape house in Vermont. I’ve always sat in a combback rocker and ate at an early tavern table. My grandmother, Muzzie, really instilled a great love for the past in me. I can’t thank her enough for doing that. Antiques and country living are a big part of who I am. I now live in a historic 1837 log cabin, right across the river from where Mr. and Mrs. Kessler lived. I take great joy caring for my seven acres and historic home. I enjoy collecting early make-do’s and other soulful cabin needfuls. I’ve been with Sandusky Street for about 5 years now. I fill my booth with early country antiques, holiday handmades, and seasonal handmade wreaths.
When I’m not antiquing, gardening, or cooking, I’m working at my day job as a Labor & Delivery Nurse. I love the mommies and babies and I enjoy caring for them.
That’s who I am and I’m proud to be part of the Sandusky Street crew.
I enjoyed antiques as a young person and have been a dealer, buying and selling antiques, for decades. I was the owner/operator of an old fashioned general store and bed and breakfast in an 1875 building in Waverly, Ohio in the early 1990s. My husband Dan and I are both retired and own a small horse farm outside of Delaware.
I grew up in Columbus and my husband Tom and I have two children. I have been a collector for 25 years and have been a dealer at Sandusky Street Antiques since September, 2021. I feature primatives but carry a variety of American and English antiques.
Debbie Keri-Brown has been an antiques dealer for over 30 years. Her mom shared her love for antiques with her as she was growing up in Brooklyn, NY. She specializes in vintage jewelry but also sells small decor items as well in her two showcases at the Sandusky Street Antiques.
Debbie is the recipient of awards for her spiritual work and for raising the awareness of the artistic talents of people with disabilities. She is a jewelry artist and author of two books of local interest.
Loa has had a passion for antiques for over 60 years, first as a collector then as an antique dealer. Loa’s main focus is art glass, sterling silver, dolls, toys and jewelry. Living in New Mexico in her youth gave her a love and appreciation of turquoise jewelry. She continues to collect, wear, and sell beautiful and unusual pieces of turquoise. In addition to her booth and showcase at Sandusky Street Antiques, she owns and operates her own antique store in Marion, Ohio.
Having visited many shops over the years and being a fan of garage and estate sales as well as auctions, selling antiques and vintage items seemed like a good way to have an outlet for my hobby.

Hi, I’m Sarah! I’ve been involved in collecting antiques since I was a little girl! My parents went to every country auction within a 100 mile radius in rural Missouri as well as antique shops, shows and flea markets. My mother became a dealer and both my parents were avid collectors of country Americana. I began collecting in my teens and have always furnished and decorated my apartments and homes with
antiques. I’ve accumulated a wide variety of collectibles including smalls and vintage jewelry, namely Native American and Mexican, paintings and decorative items, which I currently sell in my booth. I’ve been a part of Sandusky Street Antiques for over 6 years and thoroughly enjoy our wonderful group of dealers. Please come in and browse all of our amazing finds!
These two have been married for 62 years! They started collecting antiques very early on and founded Sandusky Street Antiques in 2007! They are proud to know that their dream lives on in the amazing dealers that continue the tradition of selling authentic antiques in Historic Downtown Delaware.
